Our 10th fri. lassitude post! A minuscule milestone to our weekly ritual!
Couple weeks ago, we had touched on our screen printing/ packaging process. On a similar note, we also print postcard size visual guides for our denim collection. Few reasons on why we did this:
i. Its a fun graphic composition exercise (aka we hv too much time on hand)
ii. There's a snippet of denim features on the back: for folks who are not familiar with our denim details
iii. Who doesn't love hanging denim-focus postcards on their walls?!
We are at the 11th versions of these; pick them up in our stockists.
Till next week, cheers everyone!
p.s. to the sharp-eyed: the postcard footer block matches the inseam color on that specific denim batch. Subtle visual cue, yea? :)

Screen printing//PART II. For supplies, Anthem Screen Printing is our all time fav. Friendly/knowledgeable staff. Althou screen printing isn't rocket science, but much like coffee brewing: patience and precision paid off. We had setup a tiny dark room and image exposure station @ our Oakland studio. In short, we luv to be hands on and experiment the possibilities. We print posters, postcards, exclusive graphics on our canvas bag & denim. Next time, hit us a note before you order; if time allows (& if you ask nicely.., we will try to print something special for you.)
Till next week, cheers everyone!

Screen printing//PART I. We do screen printing in house, sometimes more than sewing. Our denim package is made w/ an unprimed raw 10oz. canvas, a perfect surface to print. Designed and printed here locally in Oakland. More on printing in the forthcoming Part II.
Till next week, cheers everyone!
